Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog #37 - Let's Fly Away

Happy September!  Welcome to another challenge at Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog.  For the next 2 weeks, we want to see projects with things that fly; insects, planes, fairies, animals, etc.  Remember, we need to see stamping on your project, either rubber, clear or digital.

We will have 2 sponsors for this challenge, so that means 2 winners.

The Bugaboo winner will receive 7 images of choice.

The Stamping Chef winner will receive 3 images of choice.

For this challenge, I got to work with The Stamping Chef image Sophie Spitfire.  With a name like that, you know she is a handful.  I like the old vintage look of this stamp, reminds me of the pinup gals.  As usually, I colored the image with my water and regular color pencils.

Since she is a world traveler, the dp is an old vintage map from Tim Holtz Crowded Attic pad.  Some metals gears, a metal word band and metal hardware were added for embellishments.  There is also glossy accent on the goggles.

I thought the word band message was perfect.

Here's the inside.

thanks for looking and reading :o)

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

stamps used: The Stamping Chef - Sophie Spitfire
paper used: Bazzill, Tim Holtz  - Crowded Attic
die-cuts used: MFT Designer Label Stax Set 2, MFT You Move Me Die
embelliments: Tim Holtz - mini gears, word bands, SU hodgepodge hardware, Sew Easy brown floss, Organic cotton cord, glossy accent
