Dr Digi: All Tangled Up

Hello crafty friends :o)   I'm here today with my Dr Digi post.

Here is a fun image from Dr Digi: Tangled Trotsky.  I colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  I decided to get the sewing machine down and do some sewing around the edges and on one of the strips.  Added a few buttons just because :o)

Here's the inside.

Desert Christmas

Hello crafty friends :o)  I'm here with my Heather Valentin post..... this month is Christmas in July.

Christmas in the desert might actually be beautiful, not everywhere has white Christmas.   This cute image from Heather Valentin called Santa Ted Off to Deliver Packages was colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  I bought the metal boot years ago, thinking one day I might use it .... since Ted is wearing cowboy boots, it seems fitting.

Here's the inside.

Birthday Paradise

Hello crafty friends :o)    I'm excited to share a new Design Team I have joined ... Simply Crafty SVGs

If you have been following me, you know I have this wonderful machine that I have been playing with and this design team allows me to play and learn my Brother Cut N Scan a little better.

I made this beach inspired birthday card for my dad's wife.   They love to vacation in tropical paradises and sitting on the beach with some cold drinks.  This SVG file is called Surfer's Paradise Card

Many of the pieces were sponged with inks, and/or colored with my Prismacolor pencils to give textured.  Also used some glitter and crystals for the sand and water.  A happy birthday stamp inked on one of the surf boards.

Because I like to write a little something, I made a back panel to write a birthday message.   It was sponged to match the front panel piece that is between the sun and water.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Dr Digi: Sorry Box

Hello crafty friends :o)   Today is my post for Dr Digi.

Sometimes we don't say sorry enough.  Maybe we are embarrassed that we made a mistake or don't think we need to.  It could mean the whole world to someone needing to hear these couple of words.  I used this image Sorry Stocks from Dr Digi.  The image is colored with my Prismacolor pencils.

I decided to make this cute little fliptop gift box.  It's big enough to put lots of goodies or an item that says, "I'm Sorry"

The box is a SVG file from Simply Crafty SVG.

Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog #24: Christmas Tree Box

Hello crafty friends :o)  Christmas in July ..... you know it will be Christmas before you know it. It's time to get some of those cards done and holidays projects.

This post is for Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, where every month you get to share your Christmas projects all year around.

Here is a cute little treat box from The Cutting Cafe: Christmas Tree Treat Box.  Once again, using my Brother Cut N Scan, put it together and decorate.   Some ribbon and little star sequins to decorate my tree.

I used lace on the bottom, thought it made a cute skirt.  After I was finished and was looking at this box, I thought it would look cute with some more sitting on the table or even as name tags for the dinner table.

A Day For Daisies images are always so beautiful and whimsical.  This image is Favorite Flower Pots, in which I got out my Gelatos and water colored.  I gave it a country look by adding a ribbon with denim and jute, little twine on the tag.

Love to Craft Challenge Blog #48: Popping Birthday

Hello crafty friends :o)  Happy July.

This is my post for Love to Craft Challenge Blog, where every month is Anything Goes.  We want to see what you are crafting in your craft room.

This is a birthday card I made for my son's friend.   His friend loves him some popcorn.  This fun file was found at Lori Whitlock, which is under Father's Day, but it's great for anything.  Box Card Father's Day Popcorn

It does come with a film strip to cut out, but I had some file strip from Idea-ology to use.  I thought it would be a cute idea to use some real film instead.   There was room on the back to write a little message.

Love to Scrap Challenge Blog #135: Dad's Card

Hello crafty friends!   Hello July!!   This year is still flying by even sitting at home in idle.  Lots of inspiration for you today   This is the 1st post of just a few.

This is for Love to Scrap Challenge Blog, this month Anything Goes.

Found this cute SVG file over at Lori Whitlock's: Father's Day Toolbox card.   Easy to do.  I had this screw looking brads to use and it was perfect for this toolbox. Yes, I'm still playing with my Cut N Scan, it has made life a little easier in the crafting world.  I still like my die cut machine too.

Here's the inside and the tools.  The wooden pieces are actually wood that was stained with ink.

Here is the 2nd card I made.  This is also from Lori Whitlock: Card Dad Motorcycle.  It's always fun piecing these files together.  You have to think about what color you want each part to be before cutting it out.

Here's the inside.
