Scrapping4fun #64 Fantasy

Hello crafty friends!   It's time for another challenge at Scrapping4fun !

Our sponsor for this challenge.

For the next 2 weeks, we want to see projects that fit "Fantasy".

I got to work with sponsor image Phantasi 6.  The image is colored with my color pencils.  With all the bead work in the head dress, I decided to do some of my own beading.  I stringed some beads on twine in the same pattern.  A metal connector was added and I made sure some extra twine was strung through, because it is heavy.

Here's the inside.

Scrapping4fun #63 Birds

Hello crafty friends!! I'm here today with another Scrapping4fun Challenge.  Our theme for the next 2 weeks is "Birds".    Can't wait to see your birdie projects.

Our sponsor for this challenge.

I got to work with sponsor image Champion Eagle.  The image is colored with my color pencils.  I gave him bright orange shorts, because my dad wears some on the golf course.  I kind of cheated with the background, I made it easy on myself by using a backing paper from Dr Digi.

Yep, they're that bright....  lol

Here's the simple inside.

Julia Spiri Guest Design - Cake Bag

Hello fellow crafters!  I'm excited because today I'm Guest Designing for Julia Spiri Challenge Blog.  You can check out her Etsy shop for some cute and elegant images.

I decided to play in their "Craft Bags" Challenge.  You have 2 weeks to create a beautiful bag :o)

I'm using this beautiful image The Cake Hat.  I wanted to keep the colors soft and elegant.  The birthday dp was a lucky find, just happened to match the colored image perfectly.

I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils.
Strawberries are my favorite and a yummy strawberry cake sounds good right now.  This image also reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake.  I had a collection of Strawberry Shortcake items growing up.

I even found this cute little cupcake charm.

Even the back of the bag is decorated.

thanks for looking and reading :o)

Hope to see you in the challenge!

I would like to enter my bag in the following challenges:

Dr Digi - Getting Fit

Hello fellow crafters!  I'm here today with my Dr Digi post.

Our current challenge over on Facebook is all about "Sports".  Yes, we have challenges now, so check them out and enter to win some fabulous Dr Digi images :o)

I had to use Keep Fit Kenneth.  Weightlifting is a sport, so it's within the challenge theme.  I was lucky growing up that we had the option to take weightlifting in school as our Physical Education class.  Even after school, I continued to weight-lift until my first boy came along.  I think Kenneth has a great attitude of keeping fit and healthy at any age.  The image was colored with my color pencils.  I also used the Comic Sentiment Sheet for the birthday greeting.  The sentiment was colored using Photoshop.  The backing papers are also from Dr Digi.

Here's the inside using another Dr Digi Funny Sentiment Sheet sentiment.

thanks for looking and reading :o)

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

stamps: Dr Digi: Keep Fit Kenneth, Comic Sentiments, Funny Sentiments Sheet 2
paper used: the Paper Studio: black, MFT: wild Cherry, Dr Digi: Skull N Bones & Blam
embellishment: brads

Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog - #75

Hello crafty friends!  UGH!  I've been fighting the flu bug that the family decided to share with me.  One brings it home and shares with another, and it continues down the line.  So far 2 boys are still healthy, so hopefully those boys will live through without catching this bug.  Lucky them :oP

I hope you are ready for another challenge at Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog.  For the next 2 weeks we want to see creations with "Bows" on them.  It's "The Big Bow Theory" challenge, but remember you still need stamping, rubber and/or digital on your projects.

We will have 3 winners for this challenge.  LTSCB will be sponsoring 2 of the winners with a goodie bag of craft supplies.

The winner will receive 3 images of choice

I got to work with sponsor image from Oddball Art called Sally So Sickly.  Talk about perfect timing for this household.  I colored the image with my color pencils.  The band-aid and redcross came with the image set too.  I distressed the paper, because we feel a little rough around the edges when we are sick.  Don't forget the big bow, because that's part of the challenge.

Here's the inside.

Heaven Devil Girl

Today's post is about my other version of Christopher Kerry's beautiful image that I've colored.  About a month ago I posted my "hell" version of this image.  Here's my "heaven " version of this image.  Christopher loves to play with the naughty/nice in his images.  His work had SO much details and passion in them.  Being trained in classical oil painting and a religious background is really  prominent in his work.

I wanted this version to be light and airy with golden tones.  The light blue I used in the clouds doesn't show up very well in the pic, but it's there.  This image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  This image is from Christopher's Adult Coloring Pages.

Check out Christopher's website.  He has free tutorials and right now...he is having a 72pc Copic giveaway.

Here's both versions together.  I did touch up my "hell" version since the post, because I saw things that needed touch up and changed a little.

thanks for reading and looking :o)

House of Cards - Script

Hello crafty friends!!  Thank you for such sweet and kind comments :o)  They are always a pleasure to read and brighten up my day.

I'm here today with a beautiful new challenge at House of Cards.  Spring is here, and the inspiration photo is screaming Spring.  You have a month to create a beautiful card using the colors and/or script.

The card I created is definitely photo inspired.  I used an old stamp set from Stampin' Up called Terrific Tulips, to stamp on some scripted tissue paper.  The tulips are actually created by using 2 different stamps, inked in 2 different inks.  I actually loved how this turned out and I didn't have to color anything :o)

Here's the inside.
