MLCC is always Anything Christmas.

I have used this image before, but it's one of my favorites.  Last time is was colored all sepia tones, this time with color.  It's called December 26 from The Paper Shelter. Little Christmas sheet music for the background and a snowflake, sweet and simple.

Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog #26: Santa Selfie

Hello Crafty Friends  :o)    I'm here with my post for Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, it's always Christmas.

Here is a fun image from The Paper Shelter called Santa's Family Selfie.   I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils.  It's almost a no line method, due to my old printer was barely printing, just light purple/blue lines.  Just some fun background paper and a little lace, I figured that was enough with the pattern paper.

Here's the inside.

thanks for looking and reading :o)

paper: the Paper Studio, Bazzill

Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog #124: You Have My Heart

Hello crafty friends :o)  I'm here today with my project for Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog.  This month it's all about shapes.  We want to see cards in different shapes.

We have a wonderful sponsor and the winner will receive 3 digital stamps.

I love vintage things and I had this image Summertime Retro Style from The Paper Shelter, just needed to be used.   The image is colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  Now for the shape, I really wanted to use a surfboard, but I printed off the image long before I thought about the shape.  The surfboard was not wide enough :o(   I found a Beachball shape file from the Cutting Cafe.....a circle it was.

Here's the inside.

I'm very new with my cutting machine, lots of practice will be needed (no I'm not complaining).  I really wanted the beachball to show on the front, but because of the image......I had to put the hard work of the beachball inside.   The reason I say hard work, because I had to resize each piece and I'm sure there is a trick somewhere.

thanks for looking and reading :o)

Creatalicious #129 Antique Christmas

Hello crafty friends!  It's time for another wonderful challenge at Creatalicious, it's Anything Goes with the option Monochrome Christmas.  Sadly this will be my last challenge with Creatalicious, for I will be joining some new adventures at the beginning of the year.  Melanie and her team are sweet and wonderful to work with, I see you ladies around blogland :o)

I created a monochrome card using The Paper Shelter image December 26.   I tried to go for the sepia tones....do you know how hard it is to find the right blend with color pencils.  Yes, there is a sepia pencil, but you need depth, so different colors are needed.   After trying a few different color blends, I ended with this one.  The photo really doesn't do justice, the weather was gloomy outside.

Here's the inside.

Hello crafty friends!  Well, a little bit of unexpected here...I'm a new DT member for Let's Craft and Create.  Feeling excited about this.  This is my first post and it's the mid-way reminder post for the current challenge, Stripes or Spots.

I decided to go with "spots" using this image from The Paper Shelter called Autumn Trends.  I've had this image printed for awhile, so it was nice to finally color her up with my Prismacolor pencils.  Yes, I have a stack of digital and stamped images ready for coloring.  Sometimes when I print something off for a DT projects, I don't want to waste paper, so I print off other images to take up the rest of the page.
Anywho, I used some scrap spot and very discounted paper for some of the card.  The perfect spotty flower just happen to be in my stash, with some petite purple flowers.  Of course circle die-cuts had to used to complete me spot creation.

Here's the inside.

Season Challenge

We had a fun challenge on Kit and Clowder Facebook page.  Using the image Love in Spring by Ching-Chou Kuik, we had to color the image in our favorite season.  Of course, I went with Autumn/Fall.

Here's the image colored with my colored pencils.  During the Fall season there are vibrant colors that are so beautiful.  Even though shades of green are my favorite color, I love earthy tones of color too.  I also tried an ombre technique for the hair.

I put the finish image on a card.  Lots of layers and golden tones of Fall was used.  I found Autumn Shades digital paper from The Paper Shelter to use and I also used Michele R Design paper.  It wouldn't be Fall without a touch of burlap.

Here's the inside.
