When making this card, I didn't think about it being a Mother's Day card, but a card for someone who might need a break. Someone saw it and decided it would be the perfect Mother's Day card for her grandson to give to her daughter. This relaxing card was made using Bloobel image Zen. I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils. For the stencils part of the challenge, I die-cut a corner die and used it as my stencil. I really like the pattern of the die-cut and thought it match the designer paper.
Here's the inside. (I added Happy Mother's Day, stamped in blue)
thanks for looking and reading :o)

This is fabulous! I love your idea of using the die cut as a stencil and shall tuck that into my memory for future use :) The colours and colouring are perfect and I just love the image ... I think I could do with some Zen "time!" myself! Thank-you for joining us at the Crafts Galore Encore Anything Goes May Challenge. Good luck! Denyse x
