This post is for Mix It Up! Challenge Blog, this month's challenge is about "Emboss Resist".
I didn't have white embossing powder, so I tried stamping with versamark, then embossing with clear embossing powder. It worked!!! The white paper that I stamped on, became my background after layers of 3 different distressed inks were put down on top of the paper and embossing. I was happy to finally use this stamp I've been hoarding for awhile and I think it looks great with this effect. I distressed the edges of the die-cuts and distressed the cardboard piece. You can use different colors of embossing powders, which I did try I couple with different images, but this turned out the best. Remember it's all about trying new things :o)
Here's the inside.
thanks for looking and reading :o)
