Merry Little Christmas! Challenge Blog #44: Black and White Angel

Hello crafty friends :o)   It's always Christmas at Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, please inspire us with your Christmas projects.

This is a coloring class from Kit and Clowder, the image is from Alyce herself.  I think black & white, sepia, or monotone colored images can be very beautiful.  This image was colored with Prismacolor pencils, just a few.  It didn't have to be a Christmas card, but I it would be pretty as one.

I get asked why do I keep taking classes if I already know how to color. Each class is like practicing your skill and you can still learn new ideas or techniques.  With kids, it's hard to find the time to do anything but taxi them around these days, but you should always find some "me time", even if it's 30 mins.

Here's the inside.

thanks for looking :o)

Mix It Up! Challenge Blog #59: Double the Treats

Hello crafty friends :o)   Ready for another challenge at Mix It Up! Challenge Blog, we would like to see 3-D projects, but it is optional.

Making boxes for gifts or goodies to give is fun.  Now with machine and designs, there are so many fun designs to choose from.  This SVG file is from Lori Whitlock called 2 Compartment Cookie Box.  Not sure if I will put cookies inside, but I was thinking some chocolate and other goodies.

Here's the inside.  It was very easy to put together and is very sturdy.  The kraft paper I used was a heavy paper.

Love to Craft! Challenge Blog #67: Dad's 70th Birthday

Hello crafty friends :o)  Love to Craft! Challenge Blog has another challenge this month where Anything Goes.

My dad turned 70 this year, I think he looks much younger than this image, but my kids picked it out.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The cute die-cut is from MFT, which I just bought this die-cut, but do not see it in their store right now, it called Balloon Cover Up.

Here's the inside.  Yes, we do call our father the "old man".

Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog #155: Spring Garden Bear

Hello crafty freinds!!!  Spring is finally here and it's time for another challenge at Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog where Anything Goes.

Who doesn't love cute teddy bears?  I can't resist them and had to color up this cutie from Polkadoodles, which is Winston Gardening (looks like to be offered in their deluxe bundle right now).  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils, the sky was sponged with distress inks.  I'm ready for Spring and all the beautiful flowers it brings.
