Love to Craft! Challenge Blog #69: I'd Be Lion

Hello crafty freinds!  All 4 sisters blogs are going live today, so make the rounds for inspiration. Here's my post for LTCCB, Anything Crafty Goes.

My Favorite Things has made making box cards very easy, everything is ran through the die-cutting machine, just put together.

The adorable image is from Lee Holland Art called Cute Lion and colored with my Prismacolor pencils.

I did sponge the edges of the grass to give it some depth, thought a few small flowers were needed.

The Rounded Banner die-cut was used for the back to stamp a sentiment. This Sentiment from Unity is perfect.

thanks for looking :o)

Merry Little Christmas! Challenge Blog #45: Snowballed

Hello crafty friends :o)  I'm here with my post for MLCCB, where it's Christmas all year.

Sometimes fun cards are a must.  If you need some "quirky" images, Twistoon is one place to look.  This image Snowball Thunk was colored with Prismacolor pencils. I wasn't sure what sentiment to use at first, so looking through my collection, I came across this CC Designs sentiment.  It works with the image.

Here's the inside.

To be honest, simple cards can be hard to do when you are a visual person and love details.  I used products from Sugar Pea Designs and came out with this simply cute card.  The stamped images were colored with Prismacolor pencils.
