Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog # 33: Noelle

Hello Crafty Friends :o)  Here's my post for Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, where it's Christmas all year around.

The image is Noelle from Connie Fong.  I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils and sponged ink around the border.  Some simple die cuts and a fabric button brad.  The sentiment comes from another stamp set from Unity.

Here's the inside.

Mix It Up! Challenge Blog #48: Birthday Cupcake

Hello crafty freinds :o) This post is for Mix It Up Challenge Blog, I didn't inspiration challenge each month.  This month ... no stamping allowed.

This cute die cut set comes from TLC Designs called Cherry On Top.  I used the die cut to make a card, just by leaving some of the cardstock uncut at the fold line.  Then choose some cute paper for the front, very easy to create a cute and simple card.

Here is the inside.

Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog #144: Spring Birthday Box

Hello crafty friends!  Running behind on typing up my posts this month.  Brothers came in for a visit and things got put to the side.  I'm here with my Love to Scrap post which is Spring Forward projects.  Let's see and welcome Spring is finally here.

I had 2 projects I thought about doing for a Spring project, but this Brothers Cut N Scan project caught my  eye.  Doing these projects really helps with using up some scrap paper.  I decided to use buttons for my center, just because I have plenty of buttons.

Some lace was used on the bottom of the box for a little decoration.  I didn't use the front panel that was with the project, instead I opted for one of my own die-cuts.   Stamp is from Unity Stamps.

I'm finally using some new die cuts from TLC Designs.  This is the Celebrate Frame Die, it's a 6 piece die set, so I got to use many of the pieces.  For this challenge, all those tiny pieces, made it a challenge itself.

Love to Craft! Challenge Blog #56: DayDreaming Fairy

Hello crafty friends :o)  Here's my post for Love to Craft! Challenge Blog, where every month is Anything Goes.  We want to see what you have been crafting up.

This beautiful image is from Janna Fairy called Daydreaming.  The image was colored in Prismacolor pencils following the monthly pencil coloring class of Kit and Clowder  from March of 2020 class.  (I'm a little behind on my coloring classes ...sssshhh).  Even if you know how to color, just doing classes can help you keep in practice and maybe pick up some new tips.  Maybe even new color combos to try.

After the coloring is done, it's time to figure out what to create with each image from the class.  I decided to make a canvas with this fairy.

Several layers of stencils, paints, distress inks, embossing powder, micro beads, tissue paper, chipboard, flowers, twine, crystals ... voila !   Maybe an old button or two I had laying around.

These sentiment tags are actually from my tea bags.  Yes, I saved my tea bag quotes, because I thought they were beautiful statements.

The leather label ...seem fitting with the image.

embellishments: Southern Ridge Trading: chipboard, Bead Landing: moon charm, the Paper Studio: flowers, tea bag labels, button, twine, embossing powder, micro beads, gems

Love to Scrap Challenge Blog #143: Flower Box

Hello crafty friends :o)  Here today with my post for Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog, this month Anything Goes.  Make sure you also visit the sister blogs for extra inspiration.

Here is a cute box from Simply Crafty SVGs, called Tulip Candy Box.  It's a free file, if you are a little tight on cash after buying an expensive gift to go inside :oP    I did take color pencils to the cutouts to add extra color and some sponging on the edges.

The "for you" is a stamp from SU.  A little more color from the design paper used on the sides.

Mix It Up Challenge Blog #46: Birthday Twist Card

Hello crafty friends :o)   I'm here with my post for Mix It Up Challenge Blog, this month we want to see some "fancy folds".

I tried a new fold from a SVG file for my cutting machine.  This is a Twist Pop Card from Lori Whitlock SVG

My fancy fold is inside the card.  The "wish" panel actually twist sideways to fit neatly in the card.

This is the card completely opened.  Trying something new can be challenging and fun.

Love to Craft! Challenge Blog #55: Star Anise Spice Bag

Hello crafty friends :o)   Lots of inspiration today with all the sister challenge blogs going live today.  This is my post for Love to Craft! Challenge Blog, where every month is everything goes.  Please show us what you have been creating.

I ordered some spices online, because it's seems like that's how we are living and staying safe these days, and received this bag.  Of course I couldn't leave it black and white ... it needed color.

The Star Anise spice is not the brightest spice, but it is pretty to look at.  The bag is colored with my prismacolor pencils

It's a nice heavy canvas bag and when it's safe, I can take it to the store and it will be unique.
