Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog We're Turning Two Hop

We're Turning Two!!

The Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog is turning TWO this month! To celebrate, we're excited to bring you our "We're Turning Two" Blog Hop! We're being sponsored byAuroraWings! Come hop with us for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the AuroraWings Etsy Shop!

As you hop, collect letters at each stop and be sure to leave each designer some love. Once you have collected all the letters, unscramble them and email your guess to ltscb@mail.com - then all the correct guesses will be entered into the drawing for the Aurora Wings gift certificate!

All of the LTSCB designers are using 'two of something' on our inspiration projects. Everyone participating in the blog hop is invited to link up a project using 'two of something' for an EXTRA entry into the drawing! **Be sure to use the same email address to email your guess and to link up your project so we can make sure you're given two entries into the drawing!**

For this blog hop I got to use the image Marie Antoinette Big Hair.  I decided to make 2 projects since we are turning two.

My first project is a tag.  I used 2 die-cuts, 2 pearls, 2 shades of blue paper, 2 ribbons, and the lace only has 2 scallops.  Because the image was so small, it was hard for me to watercolor it first, so it's just regular color pencils.

Of course Marie Antoinette needed a crown and some feathers.

I sponged some ink around the image.  Some Liquid Pearls were applied on her pearls with a toothpick and a very steady hand.  There is a lot of detail in this small image!

For my second project I made a gift bag, complete with a crown topper.  This image was colored with water color and regular color pencils.  My twos are 2 charms (crown and the cupcake on top), 2 layers of 2 different pieces of lace, 2 pearls, 2 shades of blue paper and the number 2.

Here's the cupcake charm on top.

Just like the tag, I applied Liquid Pearls to her pearls.  If this counts, I used 2 different colors of Liquid Pearls; silver and gold.

thanks for looking and reading :o)

My letters are N and A.

Here are your blog hop stops:

We hope you are enjoying the hop and if you get lost along the way - or if you landed here in the middle of the hop and want to join in the fun - head over to the Love To Scrap!Challenge Blog to read all the details and start from the beginning!

Happy Hopping!

stamps used: Aurora Wings - Marie Antoinette Big Hair, MFT Birthday Sentiments

These are both stunning, Tina - very "royal" and your detailed coloring is lovely -- the time involved makes it look splendiferous!
