Scrapping4fun #42 Anything Goes with Technique

Hello fellow crafters!  I hope you are ready for a challenge at Scrapping4fun!  This was  a challenge for me....techniques.  I know I'm not up to par on all the fancy techniques out there, so I did one of my favorites and tried something new.

For the next 2 weeks we want to see some techniques on your projects.

My favorite technique is using Pinata inks (alcohol inks) on glossy paper.  You can also add metallic pens to the ink coloring.  You end up with this cool background depending on how much ink and sponging you choose to do.

The second technique I tried was Gelatos and resistance embossing.  I stamped my image and embossed it first.  I rubbed 3 different color of Gelatos on the image.  You do not need to cover every inch, because Gelatos are smooth and spread easily.  Take a sponge or tissue and rub the Gelatos into the image and it will wipe off from the embossing at the same time.  I did go back in with the Gelatos and added certain colors to areas to give it depth.

Here's the tag I made using those technique.

I covered the back of the tag with another Gelatos technique.  This was with Gelatos and water, because I wanted to hide the photo back of the paper.  (It has the name and type of paper written on it like a thousand times.)

Hope to see your creations in the challenge.

thanks for looking and reading :o)
