Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog - Feel The Love

We love our scrappy friends and without you all we wouldn't be here! The Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog Design Team is proud to bring you our "Feel The Love" Blog Hop to tell you just how much we think of each and every one of you! We're being sponsored by the amazing AuroraWings! Come hop with us for a chance to win $15 in digital images of choice! How awesome is that?!

As you hop, leave a comment at every stop! The more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win! A random winner will be selected from all the comments left on our designers' blogs!

For this hop I was given the beautiful image Flower Ballerina to work with.  I colored the image with my colored pencils.

Here's the inside with a friendship quote from Unity Stamps.  I have friends over the internet that I have never met, but they are there.  Friends that live far away, that I see rarely, but they are there.  This sentiment seemed fitting.  I was told that the second regret when someone knows they are dying, they didn't keep up with their friends or keep their friendships alive....something to think about in a busy little world of today.

All of the LTSCB designers are creating FRIENDSHIP inspiration projects for our blog hop. Everyone participating in the blog hop is invited to link up a friendship project for an extra entry into the drawing!
Here is the line-up:

We hope you are enjoying the hop and if you get lost along the way - or if you landed here in the middle of the hop and want to join in the fun - head over to the Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog to read all the details and start from the beginning!

Have fun hopping!

Playing With Fire

Hello crafty friends!  I'm here today with another coloring page post.  This one took me awhile.  I did put it aside for a month after finishing just the head and top of the Phoenix's body.  I needed to look at it and decide how I really wanted to finish it.  Yes, I seem to overthink and think about it some more :o)

This beautiful image is from artist Christopher Kerry.  It is one of the images from his Erotic Coloring Page Set.  I love the way the Phoenix is looking into the "devil girl" and the passion in this drawing.  It's a complex drawing, but it's amazing all the details that still can be added.  He does have cute stuff to coloring (and more coming) that is not risque, as well as some amazing tutorials.  Check out his website.

I colored this image with my Prismacolor Pencils.

thanks for looking and reading :o)

House of Card - Seeing Clear

Hello crafty friends :o)  I've been busily working in my yard this weekend, trying to get things done before the 4 days of much needed rains comes in.  Lots of mulch and flowerbed cleaning.

I'm here today with a new challenge at House of Cards.  This month's challenge is to use "Clear Papers".  I have never made a clear card before, so it was a challenge ( a challenge I might have to try again differently)

I decided to use acetate paper, but I only have 2 colors of staz on ink, which limited what I made. When I saw this sentiment from MFT, I knew what to do.

I stamped some butterflies on the front.  On the very bottom of the front, I embossed some butterflies.

Here's the butterflies that you can't see.

Check out the rest of the DT inspiration!  Hope to see you in the challenge.

stamps used: MFT: free sentiments, Unity: with her own wings
paper used:  Acetate, Bazzill
embellishment: Tim Holtz: Springtimw Background & borders set
