Dr Digi: W=Woof

Hello crafty friends!  I'm here today with my Dr Digi post.  I have a fair share of animals running in my house, including 2 legged ones.  I couldn't pass up this sweet face of Vince.

You can just look at him and tell he just wants to say "Hi" = "Woof" and probably licked off your face.  Some dogs just can't hold their lickers.  Vince was colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment is also from Dr Digi's Pet Sentiments.  I added a little brad bone just in case Vince gets hungry.

Here's the inside.

Let's Craft & Create #129: Snowboarding Fun

Hello crafty friends!  It's hard to believe it's Autumn, because its still very hot here.  I really love this time of the year, there are SO many festivals and yummy things to do.  Hopefully you can find some time to join in our new challenge at Let's Craft and Create, it's about Child's Play.

For this challenge, I finally got to use this cute image from The Paper Shelter, Snowboarder Girl.  The image is colored with my Prismacolor pencils and for some reason, you cannot see the swirls and background behind the image that I colored. (you can in the darker photos).  I've never snowboard, but cross country skiing and sledding were big growing up.

Here's the inside.

Creatalicious #123: Leaves

Hello crafty friends!  I'm here with my today's post for Creatalicious.  For the next couple of weeks the challenge is all about leaves.

I fell in love with this image from All Dressed Up, Little Flower Fairy and HAD to coloring her up.  She is colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  The sky was sponged with distressed ink with cloud die-cuts to create the soft background.  I felt there wasn't enough leaves in the image, I added a leaf die-cut in the layers.

Here's the inside.

Dr Digi: Small Christmas

Hello crafty friends!  I'm here today with my Dr Digi post.  Just running a tad behind today posting, but it's still Wednesday and it's all good.

With Christmas soon to be here, it's time to start cracking on the Christmas cards.  I decided to create a Christmas card using the image Last Tree In the Shop.  It's the simple things in life that should make us happy during the holidays or maybe you have a cat and this is what your tree looks like now. lol.  I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils.

Here's the inside with an Unity Stamp sentiment stamped.

Mix It Up #5: Thinking of you Cat

Hello crafty friends!  I have 3 posts today going live at the same time.  Love to Craft, Love to Scrap and Mix It up challenge blogs are doing away with the mid-month inspiration posts, so you get all the goodness in one day and all at the beginning of the month.  Hoping to start your month off with some crafty inspirations.

This is the card I created for the Mix It Up! Challenge, Inlaid Die-Cut.  I don't have a fancy computerized die-cut machine, so everything I do, it's by the old fashion hand crank Big Shot.  I really did a peek-a-boo and little bit of inlaid die-cut technique.  My lesson learn on this project, let the glue dry before sending it through the Big Shot, because it will squeeze it out through the edges.  I wasn't happy about that and I didn't have anymore of the dp I was using, so I scrapped off what I could and hid the rest...sssshhhh.  I'm really wishing I punched out a few more paw prints down the side, but.....it's still I card I think my friend will enjoy.

Here's the inside.  I know that cat looks pitiful, but it's perfect for a worrying friend.  The image/die-cut stamp set is from Tim Holtz.

Love To Craft Challenge Blog #14: Retirement...Yes Please

Hello crafty friends!  Today I'm showing a commission card I made for retirement for my Love to Craft! Challenge Blog project this month.  As always, it's Anything Goes.

(I have 3 wonderful posts today and they all go live at the same time...enjoy the overload of inspiration)

The colors and all the bubbles were picked by the person needing the card for a co-worker's retirement.  The lady was Irish, so the 4-leaf clover charm was added.  The image was from Broken Box called Daydreaming and colored with my Prismacolor pencils.   I'm sure she was daydreaming about retirement.

Here's the inside with a special message.
