Dr Digi: It'll Be Okay

Hello crafty friends!  I'm here today with my Dr Digi post.  I'm also getting swamped with everything getting ready for Thanksgiving, since family will start arriving this weekend.  Lots of scrubbing and getting food for the army about to arrive.

I created a card using one of Dr Digi's newest images, Hank the Hopeless Hunter.  We all have days like Hank.  Looks like the ducks are having fun and Hank should just be friends with them, like a duck whisper.  I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils and sponged the background with distress ink.  The sentiment is from a MFT stamp set.

Here's the inside.

I created a card using sponsor image Autumn Beauty from The Paper Shelter.  This beautiful image was colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  I thought the burlap and some autumn colors will go with the season.

Dr Digi: Cheeky

Hello crafty friends!  I have 4 wonderful posts for you today, so enjoy.

This is my Dr Digi post for today.

Dr Digi has some new and fun images to work with in his store.  I created a little pouch/pill box from Dr Digi's paper (it's 7.5x8).  Using one of the newest image, Emogeez Cool for the image and sentiment.  The are very easy to use, because they are already precolored.  Just print, cut and paste.  I did use photoshop to color in the sentiment.

It can fit a whole lot of candy inside there :o)

Mix It Up! Challenge Blog #7: Stenciling

Hello again crafty friends!  I have 4 posts for today, so enjoy :o)

This post is for Mix It Up! Challenge Blog.  For the month of November we are looking for projects that use "Stenciling".

I'll be honest, I do not have stencils (or maybe there's 1 hiding somewhere in my craft closet).  So, I created my own using die-cuts.  For one of the stencils, I decided to add texture by using modeling paste and some alcohol pigment colors.  The 2nd stencil I created, I really didn't want to clash with the texture paste, so I sprayed it with pearl and distress ink.  Die cut a sentiment, to make it very simple.

It was very odd not coloring up an image to do a project :oD

This is my Love to Craft! Challenge Blog creation.  You have the whole month to join in what you are creating this month and as always it's "Anything Goes".  Can't wait to see what you have been crafting.

Here's a commission card I was asked to create.  A nearby company is downsizing and some are retiring, some are being forced to retire, but this young man decided just to go back to school and change his career decision.  He's going from engineering to a computer engineering.  This image from Mo's Digital Pencil was perfect, called Computer Guy.  The image is colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  I couldn't resist the banner to say "Good Luck".
