MUICB #76: Bag of Flowers

Hello Crafty Friends!  I just realized I never posted my project for MIUCB, real life complications.

The new challenge is for Layers.

I did a gift bag using tissue paper from Tim Holtz and decided it had to have color.  Very carefully I colored it with my prismacolor pencils.  Who doesn't have scrap paper hanging around that needs to be used and maybe pieces of embellishment scraps.

Using decoupage on the burlap to adhere the tissue paper is the best route, I thought brushing it on the tissue would either tear it or make the colors bleed.

• paper: Tim Holtz: collage paper serendipity, scraps
• embellishments: Tim Holtz: number strips, Ashland: moss, Bead Landing: gems, gauze, staples, burlap, butterfly

LTCCB #85: Flowers in a Box

Hello Crafty Friends :o)  Spring is just around the corner....let's start the new month with inspiration from the LTCCB crafty team.

This is a birthday card using Lori Whitlock SVG file, 3D Envelope Box Flowers.  These SVG files have made it very easy to craft in a day and it's still beautiful. Don't let the name of the file fool you, it does not lay flat for and envelope, it's a box.

Here's some details I added to the flowers and leaves, either with color pencils or inks.

LTSCB #172: 20th Grudge Birthday

Hello Crafty Friends :o)  March is here and Mother Nature's hormones are going wild. Sit back and enjoy some time while going through the inspiration of all the sisters blog.

This post is for LTSCB, Anything Goes always.  Please share your scrappy projects.

My son's girlfriend just jad a birthday, she like everything dark and gothic.  I used SVG file from Lori Whitlock, Box Card Birthday

I picked papers that I thought she might like and decided not to do the banners from the svg file.  Instead, I die cutted #20, to signified her 20th birthday. Took my color pencils to add some details to the bow.
Here's the back, that way a message could be written.

Folds nice and neatly into the envelope.
