Hello crafty friends! Remember this is the first of the month and lots of inspiration day.
Here's my post for Love to Craft! Challenge Blog
I was asked to make a special card for a lady's mother to give to her best friend. The sentiments are exactly what she needed to make it special. The image is Birthday Chicks from Pickled Potpourri and colored with my Prismacolor pencils. I just so happened to have some feathers to add.
Here's the inside.

Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog #74
Hello crafty friends!! It's officially Spring...YAH! Just means lots more yard work and lot less crafting for me...lol. I enjoy the warmer weather, but having a big yard is a lot of work.
Are you ready for another challenge at Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog? It's an easy one and shouldn't take up too much time so you can play in your yard....Anything Goes. Remember we still need to see some stamping on your project, either rubber/clear and/or digital.
We have 3 wonderful sponsors for this challenge and that means 3 wonderful winners will be chosen by the Design Team.
I created a birthday card using a provided sponsor image from Pickled Potpourri called Birthday Chicks. These ladies are just cute and full of sassy I'm sure. They were colored with my colored pencils. I used the sentiment that came with the image and added a few embellishments.
Here's the inside using a sentiment from MFT.
Hope to see your creation in the challenge!!

For this challenge I worked with the set Summer Boys by Pickled Potpourri. Since there were 4 images to this set I created a card with each image.
Here is a cute little baseball boy. I colored him with my color pencils. For this challenge, I used 3 baseball type buttons. (I did decorate the inside of my cards, but I didn't want this blog to be overly blogged down with pics. I just don't feel like the card is finish unless the inside is done too.) The sentiment is from MFT Baseball Boy.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenge:
- Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - #9 Seeing Red
Next, is this cute little guy in the tire swing. The image was fussy cut out so I could hang him from this tree image I had. The sentiment, tree and grass was from the stamp set MFT Let's Hang Out. I sponged the sky and colored the images with my color pencils. I used 3 corner tabs for this challenge.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Crafting For All Seasons - #105 Cute & Summery
- Crafts Galore - Use a Stamp or Digi anywhere
- Whimsie Doodles - June Challenge - Summer Fun
Here's a cute little swimmer. I fussy cut this little guy out and put him on some waves. I used 3 brads for this challenge. The sentiment is from MFT Surf's up VIP Collections.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Digi Stamps4Joy - #114 Anything Goes
- Natalie & Amy's Challenge - #34 Summertime
- Pile It On - #76 Hot Fun in the Summer
I put this guy last, because he might not be actually what the challenge is all about, but I didn't want to break up the set. Colored with my pencils again. I saw this image where others colored like they were playing in the water, but the holding in the hand part got me. It had to be mud, because that's what boys do :o) He also has a cute frog friend playing with him. I used mica around the card to look like mud splats. I used 3 different embellishments and that's why I feel it really doesn't go with the challenge, but the image is part of this set.
I hope to see you in the challenge!
