Scrapping4fun = #56 Christmas/Winter

I'm still trying to get Christmas cards done to send...UGH.  I hope everyone is doing good this Holiday Season.  It goes by SO fast and next thing you know....it's the New Year.  Sometimes we just need to slow down and just enjoy things.  I'm trying :o)

Are you ready for another challenge at Scrapping4fun?  For the next 2 weeks we want to see Christmas and Winter theme projects.   We also have a wonderful sponsor for this challenge.

Check out their cute selection of stamps.

I used the sponsor image called Snowfall.  These little snow guys are just cute!  This card is a long skinny card 4x9, I wanted to make something different.  The sentiment on the bottom of the card is from Stampin' Up.

The image was colored with color pencils.  A little Stickles was added to the snowflake, for that little winter bling.

Here's the inside.

thanks for looking and reading :o)

Hope to see you in the challenge.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

stamps used: Sunsational Stamps - Snowfall, Stampin' Up - Four the Holidays
paper used: the Paper Studio-white, Bazzill-blue calypso, the Paper Studio-country snowmen, Red (not sure of the company)
die-cut: Spellbinders-resplendent rectangles
embellishment: Stickles-waterfall

4 Crafty Chicks - Small Christmas

Hello fellow crafters!  Thank you all for your sweet comments, it warms the heart :o)

I'm here with my 2nd Guest Designing project for 4 Crafty Chicks.  Hopefully you are getting all your Christmas stuff done, because it's approaching very fast.

This week we are looking for projects that are Non-Traditional Christmas Colors.

I've had this Charlie Brown looking stamp for awhile and decided it needed to be stamped.  The stamp is from Unity called Small Stuff Christmas.  The image was colored with my handy dandy pencils.  For non-traditional colors, I went with this bluish/purple color and kraft.  The kraft color makes me think more vintage style, the paper bags they probably used to wrap gifts.  The sentiment is from the stamp set

Here's the inside.  I usually stamp the inside when I figure out who I'm sending them to.  Sometimes it's just a handwritten message, because I feel like that's a lost art anymore.

thanks for looking and reading :o)

Hope to see you in the challenge and please take a peek at the rest of the talented DT over at 4 Crafty Chicks

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

stamps used: Unity-Small Stuff Christmas
paper used: the Paper Studio-kraft, Recollections-cape cod, Michele R Designs-Shabby Purple Charm 8
die-cuts: Spellbinders-decorative labels one, MFT simply scallops & triple scallop borders
embellishments: recycle ribbon from gift

Winterville Guest Designer

Hello fellow crafters!!  I can't believe this year is almost over, it's December and Christmas is just around the corner.  It's a busy time of year and I'm happily busy being a Guest Designer for 4 Crafty Chicks for the month of December :o)  YAH!!

4 Crafty Chicks is a weekly challenge blog, so check it out!

For this week we want to see projects that say "Winter"

This image from Stitchy Bear called Winterville seemed to be a perfect choice for this challenge. What coloring was done, was with my color pencils.  I didn't want too much color in this image, it's just beautiful the way it is.  This wintery scene reminds my of home, I guess that's why I love this image.

Here's the inside.

Surf's Up Santa

Hello fellow crafters!  It's a Dr Digi post :o)

I know....another Christmas card, but I have a big list.

I seem to forget that some people never have a white Christmas.  In fact, it's summer time in Australia.  I grew up in Illinois where snow was plenty and there was always a white Christmas.  Thank Goodness that's over!  I have been in the south for almost 16 years now and snow is not seen too often.  In fact, people start freaking out over one little snowflake, and don't let them drive...that's scarier.  I don't really miss the "white stuff" and it's just too cold.  Okay, I'm getting old and don't like to be cold...enough said.

Anyway, how about this Surfin' Santa for some beach bums.  I thought this card would be cute as a postcard style, so I stamped a postmark above the image and used a postcard die-cut. The image was colored with my color pencils.  I sponged some ink for the background.  The sentiment is part of the Christmas Sentiments Sheet at Dr Digi.
Cowabunga-Ho-Ho-Ho!!

Challenge Blog is excited to bring you our "It's A Scramble" Blog Hop! We're being sponsored by the awesome River City Rubber Works! Come hop with us for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to their online store!

All of the LTSCB designers are creating Anything Goes inspiration projects. Everyone participating in the blog hop is invited to link up an Anything Goes project for an EXTRA entry into the drawing! **Be sure to use the same email address to email your guess and to link up your project so we can make sure you're given two entries into the drawing!**

Please note that even though this is an Anything Goes challenge, our normal rules apply. :)

I used the sponsor image Sled.  I decided to do a vintage type card with this image.  I remember almost killing ourselves on a sled like this, and an inter tube, plastic sleds, car door...etc.  If the hill was big enough, it was going to be fun. The image was colored with my color pencils.   I did add a pop of red twine to give it some color.

Here's the inside.

My letters are E & I

Here are your blog hop stops:

We hope you are enjoying the hop! If you get lost along the way or if you landed here in the middle of the hop and want to join in the fun, head on over to the Love To Scrap!Challenge Blog to read all the details and start from the beginning!

Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog #66 AG

Hello fellow crafters!  With the weather starting to get cooler that means more crafting can be done, as well as baking goodies.  I love the smell of baking....anyway, before everyone gets hungry.  Who's ready for another challenge at Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog ?

For the next 2 weeks, it's Anything Goes.  Remember, we want to see some stamping on your project, rubber/clear and/or digital.

We have 3 wonderful sponsors and that means the DT will pick 3 wonderful winners.

Winner will receive a $25 gift certificate.

The winner will receive 3 images of choice.

The winner will receive $7 gift certificate.

For this challenge, I used the sponsor image Angel Wix's Christmas Moon from Lacy Sunshine Stamps. Such a beautiful image.  I used color pencils to color up this beauty.  Hopefully it's okay to use red flowers as poinsettias.  I added some glitter and ribbon to the center of them.  Some leftover scrap dp was used outside and inside the card.  (I swear scraps multiply in their little containers.)

Here's the inside.

(Sorry, Blogger is frustrating me!!  I prefer my typing to be on the left side, but blogger has been preferring the typing in the center, but not for the whole post.  It doesn't matter what I do Blogger is changing after it's saved from the way I type it up.  Sorry, it's a pet peeve or OCD, but I don't like the way it looks.)

Scrapping4fun - #53 Traditional Christmas

Hello again my crafty friends!  I hope you are ready for another challenge at Scrapping4fun.

For this challenge we want to see your traditional Christmas projects.  I have 2 projects to share with you today.

here's some inspiration....

We are being sponsored by Digistamps 4 Joy.  The winner will receive $10 gift certificate

For this challenge I saw the opportunity of getting more Christmas cards done.  I went with a vintage stamp image from Unity called  Remember YOU Baby Jesus.  The image was colored with my color pencils.  Just thought this was a beautiful image.  The designer paper is from the digital collections  Christmas Time from Michele R Designs.

Here's the inside.

Like many of you, I was a cross-sticher for many years.  I remember doing a bunny cross stitch when I was 6.  For many years I would cross stitch at night as a stress reliever.  I got burned out and card making took over.  I decided to get this little kit out of storage.  It's cross stitch with beading.  So much fun to do and it fits perfectly on a box for a gift.  I put the pattern away before writing down the company, but I'm pretty sure it's Mill Hill.  (I'm working on a snowman, so I'm assuming it's the same company.)
