Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog #54: Garden Stocking

    It's no secret that I love Power Poppy images for their details. I fell in love with this Garden Stocking, that I colored with my prismacolor pencils.  This old fashion background paper was perfect.  I know many don't think brown is a Christmas color, but I really love the way this turned out.

Scooter Santa: MLCC#51

 Hello Crafty Friends!  Christmas in July is SO true these days.  The boys are I went to the mall and the giftshop already had Christmas cards and decoration out.  We haven't made it through summer yet.

This post is for Merry Little Christmas! Challenge Blog: Anything Christmas goes.  Time to get those Christmas cards and gifts started.

Here is a fun image from Power Poppy of a Santa on a scooter.  Seems a little slow to getting presents out on time, but I'm sure there is magic in that scooter.  The image was colored with my prismacolor pencils.

Old Fashion Christmas: MLCCB #49

This post is for Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, where it's Christmas all year. 


This image is from Power Poppy and was part of a Kit and Clowder coloring class for color pencils.  Just like anything in life, there is always room to learn new things, even if you have been doing it for years. White embossing powder was used on the outer edge of the paper.

If you have been following me for awhile, then it's no shocker that I love Power Poppy images. This Hollyberries images is simple, but beautiful by itself.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  Kept the design simple with the plaid background paper.

Love to Craft Challenge Blog #89: Beauty Begins

 Hello crafty friends :o)  A new month, another post.  This post is for LTCCB, where every month is Anything Goes.  Inspire us with what you have been crafting in your craft room.


I really LOVE the images from Power Poppy, they are beautiful and detailed.  This image is Hyacinth Bulb in a Glass, that I colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment is also part of this digital stamp set. Some sewing, embossing, and sponging to give it a vintage look, don't forget the lace.

I love these cute old fashion mittens for Christmas.   The image is from Power Poppy called Mittens & Merriment and was colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  A little glitter was added to the pom-poms.

Love to Craft Challenge Blog #40: Everything in Time

Hello crafty friends!  I'm here with my Love to Craft Challenge Blog project, where everything is always Anything Goes.


It's Autumn and I love the colors this time of the year.  I'm using this beautiful image from Power Poppy called Season's Seatings.  The image is so detailed and beautiful I didn't want the design of the card to take away, so I try to keep it simple. 


The image was colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment comes with the set.

Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog #13: Vintage Candy Canes

Hello crafty friends :o)  Here's my post with sister blog Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, where it's Christmas all year around. 


This beautiful image Candy Cane Classic is from Power Poppy (I love the detailed images).  The image is colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  I used distress ink around the image to make it look vintage.   Kept the design very simple by using some scrap paper.

Love to Craft! Challenge Blog #19: 85th Birthday

Hello crafty friends!  I have 3 posts for today, so make sure you check them all out, because there are 3 new challenges happening.  This post is for Love to Craft! Challenge Blog, where it's "Anything Goes" every month.


I was ask to create a birthday card for a friend's mother.  She picked out the colors and I just colored the image up with my Prismacolor pencils.  I was a little unsure when she picked out coral and teal (a bad 80's wedding combo was in my head), but when done right, they are beautiful together.  This image is from Power Poppy.
