Merry Little Christmas! Challenge Blog #28: Snowman Winterland

Hello crafty friends :o)   Not that anyone is counting, but Christmas is 47 days away, time to get busy with all those projects.  This is my post for Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, where we love Christmas projects all year around :o)

This is a cute little card from Lori Whitlock's svg, called Wiper Card Christmas Snowman.  Personally, I think svg files have made it easier for crafters.  No more measuring and making sure each measurement is correct for each fold.  Projects can be made a little faster.  Some files, you have to resize.  Choosing what color of paper for each piece can be challenging.  Just wish the mat would stay stickier longer.

Enough room to give many little goodies.

Love to Scrap Challenge Blog #139: Happy Fall

Hello crafty friends :o)   Here's my post for Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog where this month is Anything Goes.

Who doesn't love Fall; the smells, the colors, and the crisp air.  I found this cute Fall bendy card svg design at Lori Whitlocks: Flexi Card Fall Scene.  Picking out the papers can be fun, because you can make it look different based on the colors you pick out.

I cut out some extra leaves to put inside and around.  The Happy Fall is a stamp from Stampin'Up.

Dr Digi Scary Halloween

Hello crafty friends :o)  I'm here today with a Dr Digi post.

Using a Lori Whitlock svg file of Pop Up Box Card Halloween Headstones and just adding some extra details using my Prismacolor pencils, some extra die-cuts, to make my Dr Digi card extra spooky.   The image Scary Pumpkin, backing paper Skull N Bone and the sentiment from Halloween Sentiment sheet; all come from Dr Digi.

Acetate paper was used for the inner brackets that hold the bats, I thought it looked better than solid paper, almost like they are really flying.  Some glitter scattered throughout the sky to give some sparkle.

Hello crafty friends :o)   I'm here today with my Simply Crafty post.

Who doesn't love Fall; the smell, the colors, apple cider, and lots of pumpkins.

Here is a cute pumpkin double fold card from Simply Crafty.  I use my color pencils and add a little detail to the leaf and stem.  Paper always makes the project too... look for that pretty paper you have in your stash.

Here is the card open and ready for any message.

As you can see the card is held together to keep close, by a wrap.  The sentiment is from a stamp set from Unity Stamps.

Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog #27: Noel Angel

Hello crafty friends :o)   I'm here with my project for Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, the challenge is Christmas projects all year.

I've had this Holiday Silhouettes stamps from Inkadinkado for years.  They are just beautiful, but wasn't for sure how to use them.  Dark paper, embossing and some gems, this worked.  Even though the Noel is stamped in white ink, the paper is such a dark blue, it looks like light blue, but I like it.  The embossing powder is white with blue glitter, gold and light blue powder.

Here's the inside

Mix It Up Challenge Blog #42: Distressing Country

Hello crafty friends  :o)   This is my post for Mix It Up Challenge Blog, this month we are looking for projects with distressing,  This could be inks or with tools.

I used a distressing tool for around the edge of the paper, it's one of my favorite techniques.  Layers really make this technique beautiful.

This image is from Kit and Clowder, it's a bonus coloring class.  Every month, there is a bonus class that teaches a certain technique, that members vote for.  I decided to color the image with my Prismacolor pencils on kraft paper.

Here is the inside with a stamped sentiment.

Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog #26: Santa Selfie

Hello Crafty Friends  :o)    I'm here with my post for Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, it's always Christmas.

Here is a fun image from The Paper Shelter called Santa's Family Selfie.   I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils.  It's almost a no line method, due to my old printer was barely printing, just light purple/blue lines.  Just some fun background paper and a little lace, I figured that was enough with the pattern paper.

Here's the inside.

Love to Craft Challenge Blog #50: Little Latte

Hello Crafty Friends :o)   Here's my post for Love to Craft Challenge Blog, where every month is Anything Goes.   We just want to see what you are crafting up.

This is a cute little gift box from Simply Crafty SVGs and it's FREE: Chocolate Square Box.  My youngest son loves the little square chocolate that fits in these boxes ... they were all gone before photo shoot.  They just disappeared.

The heart and Latte are chipboard from Cas-ual Fridays.  I painted with gesso as a primer, inked with embossing ink and used Stampendous embossing powder.  The powder had white, pink and gold in it, which seemed fitting for the background paper.

Love to Scrap Challenge Blog #137: Coffee Cup of Love

Hello crafty friends :o)   Running a little late on my posts.   This is my post for Love to Scrap Challenge Blog, this month: Anything Goes.

I colored this cute image from Saturated Canary months ago, but was unsure how to finish it.  Then, I saw this coffee cup SVG file from Simply Crafty, I knew what I had to do.

I tried to make the cup as girlie as possible.  Pearls around the top, some decorative papers.

A flower, some twine and don't forget the crown .

A few K-cups will fit inside and even some tea bags if you wanted to.  This can be a great gift for a friend.

Teacher Gift

Hello crafty friends :o)   I'm here today with my Simply Crafty SVGs post.  It's hard to believe with this crazy world we live in, that schools are thinking about starting back up again.  For many parents it's a sign of relief, that their growing minds will keep growing with needed information.

What's a better way to welcoming back school, then sending the teacher's a gift at the beginning of the school year.  Fill with goodies, items that might be needed; chocolate, mints and aspirin are always great gifts :o)

This id the 3D Pencil Box from Simply Crafty SVGs.  I did some sponging with ink for some depth to the box.

No eraser every used is perfectly clean, smudge marks had to be added.   I had this cute ribbon sitting around that was perfect addition.

Mix It Up Challenge Blog #40: Embossed Tag

Hello crafty friends :o)   It's hard to believe summer is almost over and I love the warm weather.  Hopefully you have enjoyed some outside time during our lock down.

This post is for Mix It Up Challenge Blog, this month we want to see projects with embossing; wet or dry.

I made a tag with lots of distresses inks on the background and some scrap pieces on kraft paper.  I stamped an image on kraft paper and  used white embossing.  The image was colored with my Prismaclor pencils.

On the scrap piece I stamped a little text image on a ink distress paper and wet embossed with black powder.  I also used some scraps and tissue paper that was distressed with inks.  I stapled these pieces together before attaching to the tag.

Love to Craft Challenge Blog #49: It's in the Box

Hello crafty friends :o)   New month and new challenges to enter.

This is my project for Love to Craft Challenge Blog, where every month is Anything Goes.

Every year I make my wonderful Chiropractor a birthday card.  Every year, he lets me know he can't wait to see this year's card .... that's a lot of pressure.   Knowing he was taking his family to the beach for some down time and how much he loves candy, I made him a gift box this year.  I used the free Polkadoodles bundle called Winnie Heroes.   I just used the upper half of the image :o)

Used some die cut sentiment for the back.

Such a cute box and it was a hit.

Love to Scrap Challenge Blog #136: Baseball Bench

Hello crafty friends :o)   It's hard to believe it's already August, being stuck in the house does not slow down time.   Lots of inspiration today with all the sister blogs starting new challenges.

This post is for Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog, this month, we want to see projects for the kids.

This is a 3-D card, it folds up nicely in a envelope to send it.   This is a SVG file Baseball Bench Box Card from Simply Crafty SVG.   I used real wood for the bench panels and distress ink on the wood.  To make the benches look a little more real, brads were used like bolts to connect the bench pieces together.

I different view.

Desert Christmas

Hello crafty friends :o)  I'm here with my Heather Valentin post..... this month is Christmas in July.

Christmas in the desert might actually be beautiful, not everywhere has white Christmas.   This cute image from Heather Valentin called Santa Ted Off to Deliver Packages was colored with my Prismacolor pencils.  I bought the metal boot years ago, thinking one day I might use it .... since Ted is wearing cowboy boots, it seems fitting.

Here's the inside.

Birthday Paradise

Hello crafty friends :o)    I'm excited to share a new Design Team I have joined ... Simply Crafty SVGs

If you have been following me, you know I have this wonderful machine that I have been playing with and this design team allows me to play and learn my Brother Cut N Scan a little better.

I made this beach inspired birthday card for my dad's wife.   They love to vacation in tropical paradises and sitting on the beach with some cold drinks.  This SVG file is called Surfer's Paradise Card

Many of the pieces were sponged with inks, and/or colored with my Prismacolor pencils to give textured.  Also used some glitter and crystals for the sand and water.  A happy birthday stamp inked on one of the surf boards.

Because I like to write a little something, I made a back panel to write a birthday message.   It was sponged to match the front panel piece that is between the sun and water.

Dr Digi: Sorry Box

Hello crafty friends :o)   Today is my post for Dr Digi.

Sometimes we don't say sorry enough.  Maybe we are embarrassed that we made a mistake or don't think we need to.  It could mean the whole world to someone needing to hear these couple of words.  I used this image Sorry Stocks from Dr Digi.  The image is colored with my Prismacolor pencils.

I decided to make this cute little fliptop gift box.  It's big enough to put lots of goodies or an item that says, "I'm Sorry"

The box is a SVG file from Simply Crafty SVG.

I would like to enter this box in the following challenges:

Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog #24: Christmas Tree Box

Hello crafty friends :o)  Christmas in July ..... you know it will be Christmas before you know it. It's time to get some of those cards done and holidays projects.

This post is for Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, where every month you get to share your Christmas projects all year around.

Here is a cute little treat box from The Cutting Cafe: Christmas Tree Treat Box.  Once again, using my Brother Cut N Scan, put it together and decorate.   Some ribbon and little star sequins to decorate my tree.

I used lace on the bottom, thought it made a cute skirt.  After I was finished and was looking at this box, I thought it would look cute with some more sitting on the table or even as name tags for the dinner table.
